Are there any drivers available for the AXIOHM thermal printer?
Yes, available drivers are listed in the Downloads/Drivers section of this web site.
In order to choose the proper driver, you must have the references of your Axiohm thermal printer and of your operating system. |

Is it possible to print a receipt directly from Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc…)?
Yes, you can print a receipt created on Microsoft Office by using the AXIOHM printer drivers (download the driver corresponding to both your printer and your version of the Windows® operating system from the Downloads/Drivers section of this website). |

How often should I clean the print head of my AXIOHM thermal printer? Which cleaning procedure should I follow?
In order to preserve the print quality of your AXIOHM thermal printer, the print head should be cleaned regularly.
The frequency of cleaning depends on the use of your printer (the more you use your thermal printer, the more the print head will need to be cleaned).
However, in standard conditions, we recommend you clean it once a month with the available cleaning kit specified in the User manual and available through an AXIOHM distributor (see the Locations section of this website). |

Is it possible to change the resident fonts of my AXIOHM printer?
The resident fonts can be changed either by control codes described in your AXIOHM printer User manual, chapter ‘User’s defined character function’ (see the Downloads/User manual section of this website), or by using the ''Easyfont'' utility
(get your trial version of 'Easyfont'from the Downloads/Utilities section of this website). |

How can I modify the settings of my AXIOHM printer?
The control codes which enable you to change your AXIOHM printer settings are described in the printer User manual (see the Downloads/User manuals section of this website). These control codes can be sent to the printer controller board either through a text editor (one of HyperTerminal type, for example), or through the AXIOHM EasyCom utility (download this freeware from the Downloads/Utilities section of this website). |

Is it possible to use another thermal paper type with my AXIOHM printer than the ones recommended and qualified by AXIOHM?
Yes but you do this at your own risk.
The warranty will not cover your thermal printer for problems caused by the use of a paper other than the ones recommended and qualified by Axiohm. |

Can the auto cutter of my AXIOHM printer cut thicker material that specified?
Yes, however the specified life of the auto cutter cannot be guaranteed.
We recommend that the users respect the specifications. In regard to labels, the printer should be set to cut between labels and not through them in order to guarantee the specified life of the auto cutter. |
